Church
In December of 1992 a small group of friends began a Bible study in the living room of a small house. This group was led by a Russian immigrant that had just arrived form the Ukraine with a mandate from God to raise up a international church. Sergey Golovey answered the call of God and began Christian Faith church. Only 19 at the time Pastor Sergey overcame great odds and persecution to be come senior pastor of one of the most dynamic churches in North America. CFC is truly an international church with English, Russian, and Spanish speaking congregations. Although each church functions on its own CFC is considered one church with many languages. The Spirit of unity can be seen as barriers like race, color (You could consider language instead of color cause color and race are more or less the same) and greed are broken down by the love of Jesus. In July of 2000 CFC purchased the first part of its multi acre facility. The 24,000 sq. ft sanctuary office building, television and radio studio along with a 7,000 sq-ft Children's and Youth facility are allowing CFC to reach the community and the world. Recently an adjacent 1 acre lot was purchased to house the new Family Life Center. This will be a state of the art multi level building designed to enrich the families of our community.
